The first-ever Emergency Preparedness Expo is taking place this weekend at the Stratford Rotary Complex. Hosted by the county of Perth, the City of Stratford and Town of St. Marys, exhibits will show how people can personally prepare for emergency situations. It's recommended that in the event of an emergency or disaster, that families prepare themselves to be self-sufficient for three days. The free event is open Friday and Saturday.

She is also an accomplished author with a number of books to her credit. Books for sale and author signing. 30% of Book Sale proceeds will go to the Rotary Club's local and international literacy projects.
