Huber, Isobel

Isobel Gertrude Huber age 90, passed away at the Mitchell Nursing Home on Thursday, May 16, 2013. Isobel was the wife of Magnus Huber who predeceased her October 16, 1998. Mother of Jacqueline and Bonnie and two sons. Sister of Donna Pearson (Don). Also survived by six grandchildren and five great  grandchildren. Predeceased by a sister Peggy Lamoreux and brothers Douglas and Jack Listman. Isobel and her husband Magnus were residents of Harmony for over sixty years and she loved  her hobbies knitting, croqueting and bird watching. Cremation will take place and a private family graveside service will be held at Avondale Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to L'Arche Stratford and may be made through the W. Florence Annie Berg passed away peacefully in her 94 th year, at Bonnie Brae Nursing Home Tavistock on

Monday May 20, 2013. Daughter of the late John and Annie Berg. Survived by her sister Leona McGregor

of Ingersoll. Survived by her sister-in-law Marlene Berg of Tavistock and brother-in-law Len Molyneaux of

Woodstock. Predeceased by brothers Raymond, John, and Oscar as well as sisters Frieda Dotzert, Lorna Schmidt,

Louise Miles, Marjorie Montgomery and Audrey Molyneaux .  Predeceased by brothers-in-law Alvin Dotzert,Alfred

Schmidt, Charles Miles, Wilfred McGregor, William Montgomery. Florence is Survived many nieces and nephews

and their families. Florence spent most of her life in North East Hope Township moving to Tavistock later in

life. Florence was a long time member of St.Peters Lutheran Church Gadshill, ON. The family would like

to express their sincere gratitude for the wonderful care and love shown to Florence while she lived at

Bonnie Brae Nursing Home.  There will be a public graveside service Friday May 24, 2013at11:00 a.m.,

St.Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery with a luncheon to follow.As expressions of sympathy,

Hood, Robert

Robert "Bob" Burnett Hood in his 85 th year passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge Stratford, Friday May 17, 2013.Born in Glasgow Scotland son of James and Anne Hood the youngest of five children. Beloved husband and best friend of 64 years to Martha "Mattie" (Todd) Hood.

Bob is survived by his loving daughters Carol (Neil) Cheney, Roberta (Lloyd) Vandenberg, Jo-Anne (John) Hood Tidman all of Stratford. Granda Hood will be missed by his grandchildren Erin Cheney (Gustavo), Geoffrey (Rebecca) Cheney, Leanne Vandenberg, Laura Vandenberg, Sean Hood Tidman, Abbey Hood Tidman, Jason (Rebecca) Vandenberg, Mathew (Shannon) Vandenberg.  Proud Great Granda to Luciana and Hendrick.

Predeceased by a grandson Kenneth also sisters Betty, Etta, Juliet, and a Brother Andrew. Uncle Bunny to many special nieces and nephews. Robert had a distinguished career with the Stratford Police Department retiring after 28 years as an inspector. Robert was a former member of the ANAF, Legion and the Kiwanis Club. Bob and Mattie enjoyed many trips overseas and also loved the summers spent at the Lake.

Family and Friends are invited to the visitation at  the W.G. Taylor, Gordon Robert

Gordon Robert Taylor, 1941-2013

It is with sadness that the family announce the sudden passing of Gordon Robert Taylor on May 15, 2013 at St. Marys Memorial Hospital.

Gordon was the son of the late Lawrence & Gladys Taylor, Lakeside, brother of Don and Ralph (Judy) of Lakeside and Al (Mary) of Cambridge.

He will be missed by five nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews. Gordon was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, Stratford. Retired from Federated Tool, London.

Railroading was always his passion and he was a member of Forest City Railroad Club, London.

His photography of trains was recognized by The Railway Magazine. The family will greet friends and relatives on Friday, May 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S., St. Marys (519-284-2820), and one hour prior to the 1 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, May 18 at the funeral home. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery on the Hill. Reception to follow.

Argyle, Frank Ian

After a brave and courageous battle that began June 2, 2012, the family of Frank Ian Argyle tearfully announces his passing on May 14, 2013. Forever loved by his wife Nancy. Loving son of Frank Argyle and his wife, the late Joyce Palmer (1985).

Predeceased by his sister Lynne Argyle (2013). Dear brother of Laura Nutt and her husband Darrell of Stratford. Special uncle to Christopher and his wife Anna of Baden, Alexandra and Jonathan Nutt, both of Stratford, and his great nephew and niece, Alexander and Gabriella Nutt of Baden. Survived by his uncle Sam Palmer and his wife Sherry, and cousin Michael of Stratford. Dear son-in-law of Beulah Eckert of Stratford.

Also remembered by special friends Jamie Bart and David McMahon. Family will receive friends on Friday May 17, 2013 from 4pm-8pm at James A. Rutherford Funeral Home, 156 Albert Street, Stratford and at First St John's Lutheran Church, Seebach's Hill on Saturday May 18, 2013 from 10am, until the funeral service at 11:30am. Reverend William Kramer will officiate.

Interment in the Church cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be given to First St. John's building fund or Stratford Humane Society.
