Donald Robert Edmunds of Mitchell peacefully passed away on Thursday May 10, 2012 in Mitchell in his 52nd year. Loving husband of Susan (Clarke) Edmunds. Relatives and friends may call at Knox Presbyterian Church, 92 St. Andrew Street, Mitchell on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. and on Monday from 1-2 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 2 p.m. Reverend Robert Adams will officiate. Yantzi, Vera

Passed away on Tuesday May 8, 2012 at her residence Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. She was born 88 years ago in Ellice Township and was the daughter of the late Enos & Mary (Jutzi) Schultz. Beloved wife of the late William Yantzi who predeceased her. Loving mother of Wilfred & Marlene Yantzi of Poole and Marvin Yantzi of R.R. # 1 Brunner. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Rochelle (Bruce) Langlands, Jason (Jenni) Yantzi, Renee Yantzi and her great-grandchildren Dustyn, Austin, Riley and Zachary. Remembered by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Omer Yantzi, Nelson Yantzi, Elmer (Elma) Yantzi, Marie Yantzi, Velma Witzel and Arthur (Edna) Yantzi. Also missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Vera was predeceased by her brothers Mahlon (Elizabeth) Schultz, Earl Schultz, sister Pearl both in infancy, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Oliver (Ada) Yantzi, Andrew (Doris) Yantzi, Ruth Yantzi, Marie Yantzi, Lucinda Yantzi and Maurice Witzel. Vera was a member of Poole Mennonite Church, Poole. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and again Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday May 12, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Poole Mennonite Church, Poole with Pastor Paul Dyck officiating. Tout, Gladys

Gladys May Tout, on May 8th, 2012, passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge, Stratford, Ontario, daughter of the late Edwin (1966) and Violet (1975,nee Branston) Tout. Gladys was the eldest of the six wonderful Tout daughters; Lois Heath, Irene Gorsline (2005), Bernice McLean, Norma Aspinall and her husband Walter and Margaret Davies (2004). Gladys was born and lived her entire life in Stratford. She led a full, active life enjoying golf, curling, knitting, baking, gardening, travelling, friends, Chrysler automobiles, walks around the river and a good game of bridge. Most of all she enjoyed the love of all her family and her many nieces and nephews. We are all missing, not only a wonderful sister, aunt and great aunt, but a truly great friend. At Gladys' request, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at Avondale Cemetery, 4 Avondale Ave., Stratford on Saturday May 12th at 11am. Miss Tout's family would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Eric Thomas and to Spruce Lodge who made Gladys feel like a part of their own family. Johnson, Beatrice

Beatrice Sarah Johnson, age 76, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on May 7, 2012. She was born in Wilmot Township, November 9, 1935, daughter of the late Harvey and Christena Hesse. Beloved wife for 57 years of Gil Johnson. Loving mother of Cheryl Renecker (Brian Mckinnon), Karen Graydon (Tom). Cherished grandmother of Christina Kropf (Adam), Kerrilyn Graydon, Kaylene Graydon. Dear sister of Howard Hesse (Mary), Margaret Paff, Vivian Paff.. Also survived by a sister-in-law Carol Bretz and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers-in-law Laverne Paff, Gordon Paff and Calvin Bretz. Beatrice had worked at Canadian Fabricated products until her retirement in 1998. She was a faithful member of the Tavistock Missionary Church. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street Stratford on Friday, May 11, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 2988 Ontario Street, Stratford on Saturday, May 12, at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Hugh Rutledge will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery, North Easthope Township. Clarke, Victor

Victor Debs Clarke of Stratford passed away at his home on May 4, 2012, in his 89th year. Born in Stratford he was the son of the late Charles H. Clarke and former Alice Burgess. Victor had been employed with the Canadian National Railway for 47 years retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Central United Church, Stratford, a member of the American Watchmakers' Institute, a former member of the Ontario Watchmakers' Association, an Associate member of the British Horological Institute, a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors Inc, and a member of the London Southwestern Ontario Chapter 92 of N.A.W.C.C. He was a Master Mason since 1922 and a member of Hornepayne Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 636 and Stratford Tecumseh Chapter No. 24 Royal Arch Masons of Canada. Victor is one of the last surviving members of the 1930's Y.M.C.A. Educated Duck Club and a former Board Chairman of Hornepayne and Capreol Y.M.C.A.'s. Beloved husband of Catherine Clarke who predeceased him on November 24, 2005. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews and their families and dear friend of Dorothy Barss of Victoria B.C. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a brother Nelson Clarke, and sister May Wells of Mexico. At Victor's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the V.O.N., the Stratford Public Library or a charity of one's choice through the Heinbuck Funeral Home, 156 Albert Street, Stratford.
