Roth, Laurene

Laurene Magdalena Roth passed away peacefully on Saturday July 21, 2012 at her residence the Maples Home for Seniors with her family by her side. Laurene was born 82 years ago in East Zorra Township a daughter of the late William Zehr and Druscilla Bender.

Mother of Roger & wife Jane of Gowanstown, Pauline & husband John Bender of Tavistock, Leon & wife Carol of Brooksdale, Marilyn & husband David Harding of Stratford, Yvonne Becker of Port Bruce, Arlene & husband Jim Zehr of RR#1 Bright and Frances Laybolt of Woodstock. Sadly missed by her 15 grandchildren Chris, Sarah, Jennifer, Donna, Jason, Jenine, Stephanie, Stephen, Scott, Kari, Darryl, Kelli, Shiloh, Aaron, Bo and 12 great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Nelson Zehr & wife Barbara of RR#1 Wellesley and sister Catherine Zehr of Kitchener and by her nieces and nephews and by her good friend Clarence Pletsch of Tavistock.

Predeceased by her great-granddaughter Karly and by her nephew Roy.

At Laurene's request a private family service will be conducted at Tavistock Missionary Church with Pastor Hugh Rutledge officiating. Interment to follow in the East Zorra Mennonite Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Tavistock Missionary Church or the London Health Sciences Centre – Neo Natal Unit would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the Francis Funeral Home 77 Woodstock St., N., Tavistock 519-655-2431.

Marie Regan, of Stratford passed away at the Stratford General Hospital on Thursday July 19, 2012. Predeceased by her 1st husband Joseph Dantzer, her 2nd husband Jack Regan and daughter Elaine Deeton. Loving mother of Joan Gossman and Janet Sadleir. Survived by sister Florence Heitbohmer. Cherished great grandmother of five great grandchildren and ten step-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Keith Davidson and Lorraine of Kitchener. Selma Roth passed away at her residence Nithview Community, New Hamburg on Thursday July 19, 2012. She was born 86 years ago in Wellesley Township and was the daughter of the late John I. & Mary (Jantzi) Bender.

Beloved wife of 67 years of Nelson H. Roth. Dear mother of Ralph & wife Margaret Roth of Tavistock, Renee Schmidt of Wellesley and John Schmidt of Listowel and Rudolph (Rudy) Roth of New Hamburg. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Missed by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Florence Baechler, Harvey & Hilda Roth, Wallace & Betty Roth, Viola & David Brubacher, Earlus & Delores Roth. Selma was predeceased by her sisters Elfrieda & husband Rudy Steinman, Laura & husband Willis Lichti and brother Dan & wife Agnes Bender.

Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Saturday July 21, 2012 from 7-9 p.m.. The interment will take place on Sunday July 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Steinmann Mennonite Cemetery, Baden. Deborah Lee Kelly age 54 of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. She was born in Edmonton daughter of the late Lyle Ross Ruby and the former Rita Davies. Deborah was a former employee of Blackstone Industrial Products ( Valeo). Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband James Francis Kelly March 17, 2011. Beloved mother of James Kelly. Dear sister of Sherry Keller (Dan), Lyle (Butch) Ruby (Brenda), William Ruby, Dianne Schwartzentruber (Morgan Lloyd), Thomas Ruby, Christopher Ruby. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Friends and relatives may call at the W. G.
