CHGK FM in Stratford (107.7 Mix FM) is looking for a newscaster /announcer to co- host the MIX morning show .We are looking for a communicator who can hold that so called "neon sign" above them and say "listen to me if you want to find out what's going on in your world."
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience, or a communicator with natural born talent who has
the ability to be real, honest and unscripted with your audience.
- You are the type that doesn't just read the news, you tell the listener
what's been going on in their world which means around the city, province, nation, globally, and know what you are reading.
- A commitment to charitable work and public appearances.
- Strong communication skills and energy.
- Excellent news writing with a conversational style.
- The ability to work independently, and with another co-host to put together the best morning show in the market. This means meeting
after your show to go over ideas for the next show.
- Good prep skills, and an incredible work ethic and positive attitude on and off the air.
- Knowledge of Scott-Studios and voice tracking.
- Valid drivers license.
