CJCS 1240 Radio - Local and Community Events in Stratford Ontario

Brendon McLeod of Rostock and Ethan McCarroll and Jordan McConkey of Stratford are heading to College State, Pennsylvania on Friday, February 3rd to compete in the 22nd Annual Nittany Invitational Volleyball Tournament. The Tournament has 48 teams registered from Canada and the United States. The three players who were teammates last season on the Waterloo Tigers Volleyball Team will also be attending an OVA Tournament this Saturday at Fanshawe College. The friends will be playing for two different teams this season, McLeod and McCarroll for the Tigers, seeded first and McConkey for London Forest City, seeded second. These seeds are based on the final results of their first OVA Tournament held at Jacob Hespler in Cambridge on December 10, 2011. The boys are hoping for another re-match this weekend. Previously, all three boys were coached by Brad Hernden, and members of the Stratford Volleyball Club.
