Stratford/Caledonia Series Reaches Tipping Point Tonight in Game Five

Game Five between the Cullitons and the Corvairs explodes tonight in Caledonia and the stakes couldn't be higher.

Stratford jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven semifinals but Caledonia has battled back to tie the series 2-2.

The puck hits the ice in the Haldimand Centre at 7:30pm.

If you can't make the drive up, tune into 1240 CJCS at 7:15pm for the pregame show followed by the matchup.

Listowel Cyclones Shake Up Front Office

The Listowel Cyclones have announced some organizational changes.

Starting next season Jeff Flanagan will become solely Head of Hockey Operations.

Mark Uniac will take over the head coaching job, and Cyclone alumnus Dawson Smith has been named an assistant coach.

Flanagan's new role will see him become more focused on recruiting, scouting and promoting of players and the GOJHL to various colleges and universities.

Wayne Long will remain the General Manager of the club.

Corvairs Even the Series at Two Wins Each

It's a whole new series!

The Caledonia Corvairs triumphed 7-4 Monday night over the Stratford Cullitons at the William Allman Arena.

Liam Maaskant, Jake Ryan, Mitch Vandergunst and Andrew Barton each scored for Stratford but it wasn't enough.

Nick Caldwell took the loss in net.

The best-of-seven series is now tied 2-2.

It heads back to Caledonia Wednesday night for Game Five at 7:30pm.

If you can't make it out, tune into 1240 CJCS at 7:15pm for the pregame show followed by the match up.

Stratford Cullitons Push Caledonia to the Limit Sunday Night

The Stratford Cullitons and the Caledonia Corvairs pushed each other to the limit last night at the Haldimand Centre.

However, it was Caledonia who came out on top 4-3 in double overtime.

The marathon hockey match carried on well into the second sudden death period before the Corvairs sealed the deal.

Ryan Watson, Shane O'Brien and Jake Ryan each scored for Stratford but it wasn't enough.

Nick Caldwell took the loss in net.

Stratford still leads the best-of-seven series 2-games-to-1 and Game Four is set for tonight at the William Allman Arena.

The puck drops at 7:30pm and the Allman Arena Box Office opens at 6:00pm.

Advance Ticket Sale for Monday Night Cullitons Game

The Stratford Cullitons/Caledonia Corvairs semifinals will return to the William Allman Arena Monday night for Game 4 of the best-of-seven series.

However, fans can purchase tickets early.

There will be an advance ticket sales Saturday, March 16th from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Allman Arena Box Office.

The Box Office will also be open at 6:00pm on Monday.
