United Way's Caravan of Hope Comming to a Community Near You

United Way staff and volunteers will be traveling to 12 communities across Perth and Huron Counties to garner support for the final leg of their 2011 campaign.

The Caravan of Hope will hit the road on February 8th to 9th to raise support for 22 member agencies, and its divisions and projects: 211, The Social Research and Planning Council, The Youth United Council, The Local Community Food Centre, PF Solutions Perth Huron (Employment Practice Firm), and Volunteer Connections.

The organization is hoping to bridge a gap of $70,000 in their campaign through donations of $11 in the 11th hour. The Caravan of Hope's schedule is as follows:

February 8th

Listowel 10-10:30am Ideal Supply - 1045 Wallace Ave N, Listowel

Milverton 11-11:30am Perth East Public Library - 19 Mill St E, Milverton

Mitchell 12:15-12:45pm West Perth Youth Centre - 89 Ontario Rd. Mitchell

Stratford 2:00-2:45pm Stratford City Hall - 1 Wellington St, Stratford
