Unlocked Vehicle Entered at Festival Market Place Mall

On Thursday, February 2nd, a motor vehicle parked at the Festival Market Place Mall was entered. The driver had left the vehicle unlocked. When they returned they noticed that the motor vehicle was entered and several rings valued at $4000 had been taken. There are no suspects at this time. The Stratford Police Service reminds citizens again to lock their motor vehicles and to keep valuables out of sight.

Since 2008 the number of unlocked motor vehicles entered has steadily declined.

2008 – 307 cars were entered

2009 – 343 cars were entered

2010 – 283 cars were entered

2011 – 137 cars were entered

2012 – 4 Cars were entered to date
