A single motor vehicle crash sent local teenagers to hospital.

Shortly before 1:30pm on Tuesday, the Perth County OPP was dispatched to a collision on Road 122 south of Line 42 (south west of Gads Hill).

A 2000 Honda Civic was travelling north bound on Road 122 when it approached an S curve.

The vehicle was being operated by a 17-year-old West Perth male.

The Honda left the paved portion of the roadway and entered the east ditch.

It struck a utility pole snapping it in half.

The front seat passenger, a 17-year-old male from Gads Hill as well as an 18 year old male passenger in the rear seat, were transported to Stratford General Hospital with minor injuries.

Another 17-year-old male passenger was uninjured.

Hydro one attended and made the necessary repairs.

The driver has been charged with careless driving.
