Thunderstorms could touch down in the majority of southern Ontario today as cloudy conditions form after days of extreme heat and humidity. Environment Canada says in a special weather statement it expects isolated, non-severe thunderstorms may be active in many parts of Southern Ontario -- bordered by Georgian Bay in the north, Haliburton towards the east then down to Trenton on Lake Ontario. It comes a day after  11 temperature records were broken in Ontario. There also may be a handful of severe thunderstorms in southwestern Ontario.
