The Upper Thames River watershed remains in a Level 2 Low Water Condition.

This comes after six consecutive months of below normal precipitation in most of the watershed.

Most streams and rivers across the watershed are very low which leaves them more vulnerable to pollution.

The Conservation Authority is encouraging residents to conserve water.

Meanwhile,

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority and the City of London, with help from the Thames River Clean Up, Thames River Rally and Try Recycling, are organizing a River Rally Clean Up in London.

This will take place on Thursday, August 9th from 4:00pm - 7:30 pm.

It will happen in Watson Street Park in London.

For more information, go to www.thamesriver.on.ca or call (519) 451-2800 ext. 224.
