It's day eight of the 2012 Olympic Summer Games in London England and so far it is a mystery who will claim the first gold medal for Canada. Our country currently holds seven medals: five bronze and two silver. Paula Findlay and Kathy Tremblay will compete for Canada today in the women's triathlon final, also Charles Francis, Brent Hayden, Joe Bartoch and Scott Dickens will compete in the mens swimming 4x100 metre medley relay final. Other Canadian athletes competing today in athletics, sailing, diving, table tennis, badminton, cycling track, equestrian and trampoline.
