The Stratford Cullitons started the season off on a high note.
They edged the Elmira Sugar Kings 2-1 at the William Allman Arena Friday night.
Shane O'Brien and Quinten Haddock each scored for Stratford while Nick Caldwell turned in a strong performance in net.
Elsewhere, Listowel lost to Brampton 6-4 and Leamington edged St Marys 5-4.
