Repairs to the Wildwood Dam are set to begin next week.
Water levels at Wildwood Reservoir are at their lowest in 25 years to allow for extensive work on Wildwood Dam.
Hydrologists with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA) began lowering the reservoir in August of this year.
The reservoir is now low enough to permit repairs on the dam to go ahead.
The project costs $135,000 and is funded 50% by watershed municipalities with the remaining share coming from the Province of Ontario through the Ministry of Natural Resources Water and Erosion Control Infrastructure program.
