The much maligned Mornington Street sidewalk project may finally be happening. A recommendation last night came from the public works subcommittee to move forward with the project.
The subcommittee also recommended council pass an improvement charges bylaw. That by-law would force home owners along that stretch of Mornington Street to foot some of the construction bill.
The recommendation will now be sent back to city council for approval.
