A Stratford teacher has been recognized by the Prime Minister. Stratford Northwestern Secondary School teacher Paul Finkelstein was honoured yesterday with a 2010–11 Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence with his work in Culinary Arts. Finkelstein is famous for his unique culinary program at Northwestern and its Screaming Avocado Cafe, and received a Certificate of Excellence worth $5,000 that will be shared equally between the winners and their schools or childcare institutions.
