George Alexander Henderson, 82, of Mitchell passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, May 8, 2008. Beloved husband of Jean Henderson. Dear father of Bev and Jim Kemp and Murray and Kathy Henderson, all of Mitchell. Loving grandfather of Krystle and Steve Pettapiece, Kyle Kemp, James Henderson, Morgan Henderson and fiancee Kate Nuhn. Dear brother of Mildred Burlingham of Stratford. Dear brother-in-law of Eric Hodgins of Lucan, Jim and Beth Tubb, Lois and Elmer Gordner, all of Mitchell. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Annie Henderson, sister Gladys Hodgins and brother-in-law William Burlingham. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Camillia LaRouche officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Mitchell. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or charity of one's choice would be appreciated. Peacefully, at Stratford General Hospital, on Thursday, May 8, 2008, Walter, of Gadshill, in his 89th year. Loving husband of Eileen (nee Cook). Dear father of Ferne (David Young) of Port Colborne, Bernice (Samuel Young) of Scherkston, Marian (Ed Christie) of Beamsville, and daughter in law, Carol Roth of Nithburg. Predeceased by his sons, Keith and Bruce. Will be sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren as well as his brother, Eddie Roth (Betty) and sisters, Mildred Beam, Margaret (Gordon Dotzert), Florence Jacobs, and sister-in-law, Grace Roth. Predeceased by his brother, Donald Roth. Friends may call at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home , 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services on Sunday, May 11 at 11 a.m. at the North Easthope Reformed Mennonite Church, 1993 Perth Line 43, New Hamburg. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
