A West Perth man has lost his ride and his license after a swerving pickup truck caught the attention of the police.
Just after 1:00 a.m. in Atwood Sunday morning an OPP officer on patrol saw the red pickup swerving in its lane on Main Street.
The truck pulled into the Elma Community Centre where it drove onto a cement curb as the driver was attempting to park.
The officer spoke to the man driving the truck, who displayed signs of impairment.
He was arrested and taken to the Palmerston OPP detachment and failed two breath tests.
The 33-year-old has been charged with "impaired operation of a motor vehicle", and "operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood".
He'll appear in court in Listowel on July 17th to answer to the charges.
